The Dangu Castle (map)

In 1198, one year before he died, Richard Coeur de Lion, king of England, duke of Normandy settled his head quarters in the castle of Dangu from which he held out against the king of France Philippe Auguste.

The present castle of Dangu was built in 1896 by count Pozzo di Borgo with the stones of the castle of Montretout, previously owned by Madame de Pompadour.

This castle, property of the Pozzo di Borgo since then, welcomes you for your seminars, your conferences, your product launchings, your companies' day.
