The Pietro Accorsi Foundation
How many knows about a beautiful Museum in the historical centre of Turin? Not many of you I suppose: it is a pity because it is one of the most enchanting Museums in Europe.
I am writing about the Accorsi Foundation, a unique collection of furniture and artistic objects.
There are a few rooms completely furnished with Louis XV, Louis XVI as well as Venetian extremely precious furniture, like the ones made by Pietro Piffetti.
This museum is placed in Via Po, n° 55, in a beautiful palace of the 17° century, totally and perfectly restored, which is equipped like any other perfect museum of the new millennium.
Kind and prepared people will guide you through the various rooms, making you feel thrown back in time and space. It is the result of years of researches and selections by the Royal antiquarian Pietro Accorsi, and it is now possible for everyone to see such rarities.
I strongly recommend visiting this Museum, it is worth a holiday in Turin!
