NOTES:
Despite begun by Jean François Oeben who worked at it for three years, this famous desk was finished and delivered by Riesener in 1769.
Jean Henry Riesener worked in the shop of Jean François Oeben and, when he died, was in charged of the atelier and even married the widow, Françoise Marguerite Oeben.
